Message From The Head of The Department

Dear Students,

Physiotherapy is a profession that is gaining increasing importance both in our country and around the world. It involves using physiotherapy-specific assessment methods and planning and applying physiotherapy approaches following the diagnosis of a specialist physician in cases of diseases, injuries, aging-related issues, pain, and functional disorders that lead to movement impairments. Physiotherapists play a crucial role in improving individuals’ quality of life. In today’s world, where technological advancements are leading to more sedentary lifestyles, one of the vital responsibilities of physiotherapists is to promote physical activity and implement evidence-based, preventive, and health-enhancing protocols.

The aim of our department is to educate physiotherapists who have received a universally qualified education in physiotherapy and rehabilitation; who respect human rights; are aware of the rights and legal regulations of the profession; embrace ethical values; are internationally competent; and adopt lifelong learning as a principle, becoming inquisitive and productive professionals.

With our innovative, productive, and dynamic academic staff who are passionate about teaching and learning, we would be delighted to welcome you—our valued young hopefuls for the future—into our community.
